Week Two of Talks Concluded

January 31 - February 04, 2005, Vancouver

CATCA CAW Local 5454 and NAV Canada concluded the second week of collective bargaining in Vancouver.

Discussions this week centred around:

· shift cycles

· length of shifts

· changes to shift cycles and shifts under Article 16.

· vacation leave planning

· retention of long service employees

· trainee leave

· lieu leave in regards to the Wallace decision

· familiarization flights

· Short notice change of shifts for trainees.

Discussions, again, were positive with some progress being made from the previous session. Next meetings are scheduled in Toronto on February 14^th to the 18^th.
